Designing and Implementing Effective Surveys

Description: Surveys are a great way to connect with your community to find out exactly what they want, need and expect from your library but they must be done right! This two-part webinar will provide an introduction to survey planning, design, and implementation. Participants will learn to identify when to use surveys; how to write effective, actionable, and unbiased survey questions; gain a basic understanding of how to use a popular survey creation tool; and learn about designing, validating, piloting and an implementing effective surveys.

Part I:

  • The assessment lifecycle
  • When to survey
  • Sampling populations and methods
  • Survey planning
