Sticking with this month’s theme, a picture has been selected of a woman assisting young children with books. This picture, entitled “Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. Bringing the books to the customers” is of Margaret Adkins recoomending a book to a young patron. The library’s bookmobile service ran from 1937 to 1966.
