List of Licensed General Contractors

The North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors is an occupational licensing board responsible for the annual licensing of general contractors in the state. This handy directory is intended for the use of local and state governments; engineers, architects, and construction professionals; and the general public. The directory makes it easy to check on a contractor’s licensing when deciding whether to hire the contractor for a home improvement project.

Contractors are grouped by city, and then listed alphabetically for each city. Some contractors are individuals, while others are companies. For each, the address, license number, limitation, and classification are provided.
