The Signal is the monthly newsletter for the volunteers who help visitors at the North Carolina State Capitol, one of the state’s Historic Sites.

The North Carolina State Capitol relies on volunteers to assist with the many student and adult groups who tour the building each day. As the North Carolina State Capitol Foundation says, “No previous experience is required, just a love of history, enjoyment of working with children and a few hours a month to volunteer.” In addition to a subscription to The Signal, which includes a handy calendar of events, volunteers receive training and recognition dinners.

Each issue of The Signal can be read, downloaded, and/or printed at http://digital.ncdcr.gov/u?/p249901coll22,263239.
