It’s time for Preservation Week, an annual event that shines a light on what it takes to preserve digital and print resources. This year, we’re focusing on personal archiving – what you can do to save your own documents, photographs, and social media.

Join us all week as we celebrate with a series of daily blog posts about digital preservation, the release of a new tutorial on saving your Facebook data (coming Tuesday!), and an on-site exhibit by the Government and Heritage Library and the North Carolina State Archives in the lobby of the Archives and History Building in Raleigh.

If you can’t make it to Raleigh, take a look at the exhibit below. You can learn about saving your digital photographs, social media, and scanned documents as well as the best way to care for your print papers and photographs. We hope Preservation Week will give you an excuse to think about saving your stuff!
