GHL Family History Fair: Scanning Station

2nd Saturdays! Government and Heritage Library Family History Fair - August 11th!
August 11, 2012. 10am – 2pm
First come, first served!

Staff from the Government & Heritage Library and the State Archives of North Carolina will be on-hand to scan your family history items during the 2nd Saturdays Family History Fair! This is a great opportunity to have your family Bible records, family trees, or other collected genealogical information scanned for possible inclusion in the NC Family Records Online collection. Copies of the scans will be emailed to you within two weeks. By participating, you will be donating the digital copy created to the State Archives or State Library for their collections*.

Save yourself time and have the Scanning and Donation Information Form (PDF) completed ahead of time! Copies will be available on-site as well.

Guidelines and instructions for donating Bible records to the State Archives may be found at: http://statelibrary.ncdcr.gov/digital/ncfamilyrecords/fhp_brochure.pdf
