State Doc Pick of the Week: A Boater’s guide: to Protecting North Carolina’s Coastal Resources

Produced by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Division of Coastal Management, this week’s publication offers suggestions on how boaters can best protect North Carolina’s coastal resources.  There are approximately 367,285 registered boaters that use North Carolina’s waterways.  Many water-based activities can contribute to water pollution. Boaters should do all they can to protect North Carolina’s waterways. The ways we handle our trash, cleaners, and sewage, and operate our boats can make an enormous difference in our environment.
