State Doc Pick of the Week: Crop damage by wildlife

Did you know that in 2009 wildlife destroyed an estimated $29 million in North Carolina field crops?  These statistics were put together with the help of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.  It includes information on what crops suffer the most damage and the most common kinds of wildlife producing the damage.
