Inside the bee cage.

We go above and beyond in the State Fair press office to bring fairgoers a behind-the-scenes look at the N.C. State Fair. As part of an assignment, I went inside the bee cage to interview state apiarist Don Hopkins about the bee exhibit in the Expo Center. It was a neat experience, and fortunately, Don used enough smoke to calm the bees and prevent me from getting stung.
